These are the terms for using Nur, a prayer tracking app. We have kept them short and readable.
Nur is a free prayer tracking application. It helps you log daily prayers, track fasting, manage qadaa goals, and view prayer times. It is provided as a personal tool — not a religious authority.
You do not need an account to use Nur. If you create one (for cloud sync), you are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app.
Everything you enter into Nur — prayers, fasting logs, goals, settings — is yours. We do not claim any ownership or rights over your data. You can export it at any time as a JSON file from Settings.
If you delete your account, all cloud-synced data is permanently removed from our servers.
Please use Nur for its intended purpose: tracking your worship. Do not attempt to:
Nur is a personal project and is provided on a best-effort basis. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. We will try to give notice for significant changes, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
Nur is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do our best to keep things accurate and working, but we cannot guarantee that the app will be error-free, that prayer times will be perfectly accurate for every location, or that data will never be lost.
You are responsible for maintaining your own backups (the export feature helps with this).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nur and its creator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. This is a free tool built in good faith — please use it with that understanding.
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Nur after changes means you accept the new terms.
