Nur is a prayer tracking app built for Muslims. Your privacy matters, and this policy explains what data Nur collects, how it is used, and what control you have over it. We keep things simple and honest — no legalese.
That is everything. Nur does not collect device identifiers, IP-based location, usage patterns, or any other telemetry.
By default, all your data lives on your device in localStorage. Nothing leaves your browser or desktop app unless you choose to enable cloud sync.
If you turn on cloud sync, your prayer data is stored in Supabase (a hosted PostgreSQL service). The data is tied to your account and is not shared with anyone.
Nur does not currently include any analytics. In the future we plan to add Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics tool that does not track individual users and is fully compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR. No personal data will be collected through analytics.
Nur does not sell, rent, or share your data with anyone. There are no ads, no ad networks, and no data brokers involved.
Nur uses localStorage to save your prayer data, preferences, and settings on your device. Nur does not use tracking cookies. If Plausible Analytics is added in the future, it will operate without cookies.
Nur does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app does not require an account to function, and no personal information is collected without explicit action (signing up for cloud sync).
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without clear notice.
