Made to help you stay consistent

Nur was built with one purpose: to make it easier to keep up with your salah, day after day. Whether you're making up missed prayers, fasting, or just trying to be more consistent, this is a simple tool to help you stay on track.

Your data is yours alone. Everything is stored on your device with no account required. Cloud sync is optional if you want your data on multiple devices. No ads, no tracking, ever.

FAQ

Questions

Does Nur support my calculation method?

Yes. Nur includes ISNA, MWL, Egyptian General Authority, Umm al-Qura, Karachi, Dubai, Turkey, Kuwait, Tehran, and Jafari. Ten methods covering most regions.

Does it support Hanafi Asr timing?

Yes. You choose between Standard (Shafi'i/Maliki/Hanbali) and Hanafi in settings. It applies instantly.

Can I use it without internet?

Completely. Prayer times are calculated locally on your device. The only feature that needs internet is cloud sync, which is optional.

What happens to my data if I switch devices?

If you've turned on cloud sync, your data restores when you sign in on the new device. Without sync, you can export everything as a JSON file from Settings and import it on the other device.

Is Nur really free?

No catch. No ads, no premium tier, no data collection. Nur is a personal project built to help Muslims pray consistently.

Does it work on Mac or mobile?

Yes. On iPhone, Android, Mac, and Linux, install Nur as a web app from your browser. It works offline and looks like a native app. See the install guide for step-by-step instructions.
